Located only 3 hours from Vancouver, Skeena Heliskiing can be accessed by a direct flight to Smithers (1½ hr flight from Vancouver) and a 1½ hr drive from Smithers airport to the lodge.

Airlines couriers with flights from Vancouver (YVR) to Smithers (YYD) are Air Canada and Hawk Air. We recommend if flying Star Alliance to Vancouver to book the connection flight to Smithers on the same ticket.

Tip: Especially if coming in a group, to arrive in Smithers on the Thursday, stay over night at the Hudsons Bay Lodge (they do airport shuttles for free) and we will pick you up at the hotel on Friday morning. This way you will arrivier early at Skeena Heliskiing and you can get an additional 1/2 day of skiing in.
