Have you always wanted to know where your skiing, what did that run actually look like. here you can. Follow the instructions and have fun.
Intsructions:
- Download google earth if you do not have it. HERE.
- Familarize your self with Google Earth. How to navigate, etc.
- Download OUR Skeena Heliskiing google earth file below.
- Drag downloaded kmz file into your google earth.
- Open the folder and by opening the additional ski area folders you can click on a run icon (Colored Flag) and google earth will fly" you there. The run icons are colored by blue being the easiest, yellow intermediate and red the hardest and gnarliest.
- Depending on the version and computer you are using you may have to delselect the different area overlays since the shading may be transparent or not.
